Bharat Vasan
Bharat wears many hats at Basis, including leading the Sales and Marketing teams. Basis is a San Francisco-based wearable tech startup focused on helping people lead healthier lives. Bharat co-founded Basis as a 8-year veteran of the consumer entertainment space, from Electronic Arts. As COO for EA's Online team, Bharat worked alongside EA’s amazing creative leads to improve online game experiences and monetize them. Prior to taking an operational role, Bharat led many mergers and acquisitions transactions for EA, working on a global scale, across private and public companies. He began his career in investment banking at Credit Suisse and DLJ in New York. Bharat received a B.A. from Middlebury College and M.I.A from Columbia University. Bharat gets his pulse racing by snowboarding, surfing, playing tennis and navigating San Francisco’s gnarly traffic on his bike.

Dr. Shriram Nene
Dr. Nene was born in London, and grew up in the United States. Prior to going to college, he was a software entrepreneur. He did his undergraduate work at Washington University in St. Louis, where he also obtained his Doctorate of Medicine in 1993. He subsequently trained in General Surgery anddid a Vascular Surgical Research Fellowship at the University of California in Los Angeles. He finally completed his training with a fellowship in Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery. He was boarded in Thoracic and General Surgery in the United States and practiced as a heart, lung and vascular surgeon in Denver, Colorado. In 2011, he moved to India to make a difference in the lives of others and improve the practice of medicine, worldwide, to international, evidence based standards by empowering the patient and doctor’s reach.

Esther Dyson is a former journalist,Wall Street technology analyst and is chairman of EDventure Holdings who is a leading angel investor, philanthropist, and commentator focused on breakthrough efficacy in healthcare, human capital, digital technology, biotechnology, and aerospace. Dyson is currently focusing her career on preemptive healthcare and continues to invest in health technology. Gautam runs Simply Hired. Gautam has lots of experience starting startups, and finding great people to help grow them. Prior to Simply Hired, he co-founded the India Community Center to help bring the SF bay area community closer together. Before that, he was CEO and co-founder of AtWeb, an Internet 1.0 company acquired by Netscape/AOL in 1998. AtWeb made a product called Web Site Garage that helped millions of small businesses "tune-up" their websites and register them with all the leading search engines. Before the dot-com era, Gautam worked for several small businesses including HP, IBM, and Microsoft.

Kanwaljit Bombra
Kanwaljit Bombra started his professional career in 2001 with Dell. and has since led program management for the sales and order management functions supporting the Americas region. In addition, Kanwaljit is a founding partner at two highly successful and well acclaimed restaurant concepts in Austin, TX and actively manages all financial aspects of the operation. He is currently working on a growth strategy for Tarka Indian Kitchen, a quick casual Indian concept, with the aim of becoming the first of its kind to establish a truly national footprint.
Kanwaljit attended the Lawry Mays School of Business at Texas A&M University, earning post graduate degrees in Finance and Management Information Systems. He currently resides in Austin, TX with his wife and two rapidly growing children!

For fans of Hindi cinema, Madhuri Dixit-Nene needs no introduction. She has starred in over 70 films spanning 30 years and continues to enthrall. She has been on the cover of over 300 magazines, been the recipient of numerous awards including 6 Filmfare awards with 13 nominations, and received the coveted Padmashri (fourth highest civilian award) from the Indian government for performance in the arts. An Alumni of IIM-Calcutta, he worked with Johnson & Johnson as managing director for southern Europe, based out of London. His last assignment was as Managing Director of The Walt Disney Company India, a position he held for 5 years where he was responsible for managing all the lines of business for Disney including television, films, digital and consumer products.
Prior to that, he worked with Kellogg's, Warner Lambert/Parke-Davis and Boots in India.

Mike McNamara is chief executive officer of Flextronics (NASDAQ: FLEX), a $24B, industry-leading, Fortune Global 500 end-to-end supply chain solutions company with a global workforce of 200,000 and operations in over 30 countries.
Prior to his current role, Mr. McNamara served as Flextronics’ chief operating officer and president of Americas operations. Mr. McNamara joined Flextronics through the Company’s acquisition of Relevant Industries,. While there, he served as president and chief executive officer. Other leadership roles Mr. McNamara has held include vice president, Manufacturing Operations at Anthem Electronics and principal and interim vice president of operations at Pittiglio, Rabin, Todd & McGrath. In his early career, Mr. McNamara held a variety of leadership positions at Intel and worked as a production foreman at Ford Motor Company.
Under Mr. McNamara’s leadership, Flextronics doubled revenue from $15B in 2006 to over $30B in 2008, and he led the $11B acquisition of Solectron, one of the largest in the industry
Mr. McNamara received a bachelor’s degree from the University of Cincinnati and a master’s degree in business administration from Santa Clara University.

Steve Luczo
Steve Luczo, Seagate’s chairman of the board, was appointed president and chief executive officer in January 2009. This returned Luczo to the president and CEO role he held at Seagate from 1998 to 2004. In October 2013 the company separated the President role and CEO role, with Luczo continuing to serve as Chairman and CEO.
Luczo was elected chief executive officer and appointed as a member of Seagate's board of directors in 1998, later becoming chairman of the board in June 2002. The company separated the roles of chairman and CEO in July 2004, with Luczo continuing to serve as chairman of Seagate’s board of directors.
Previously, Luczo was president and chief operating officer with overall operating responsibility for Seagate’s disc drive development, manufacturing, sales and marketing, component and quality organizations. Luczo joined Seagate in 1993 as senior vice president of corporate development. He was responsible for a number of strategic acquisitions and equity investments for Seagate, including the company’s merger with Veritas in 2000, which resulted in the privatization of the company.
Prior to joining Seagate, Luczo spent 10 years in investment banking. During this period, Luczo acted as an advisor to Seagate on numerous transactions.
Luczo received an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, after completing his undergraduate work at Stanford University, where he received his BA degree in Economics and Psychology. In addition, Luczo is very active in philanthropic endeavors, and is passionate about sports and the creative arts. He is a member of the Microsoft Corporation Board, the World Wildlife Foundation Board, All-Stars Helping Kids Advisory Board and Silicon Valley Education Foundation Advisory Board. In 2012, Luczo was ranked 21st on Fortune Magazine's Top 50 Businesspersons of the Year. Luczo was also named the tech’s top turnaround artist for 2013 by Bloomberg.
