How to fix following issues:

My Phone Sensor has stopped counting steps in the GOQii app.

I have enabled Phone Notifications on my GOQii Tracker, however notifications have stopped coming on my tracker.

Please select your brand/model of your mobile.

Samsung Huawei Xiaomi Xiaomi Mi A1, Xiaomi Mi A2 Google Pixel OnePlus Sony LG Motorola HTC ZTE Oppo Vivo All other brands and models

Samsung

To get the right settings for GOQii app to perform properly on your Samsung mobile, you need to first determine the OS Version to operate accordingly. (you can go to mobile Settings → “Software information” → “Android version” to check OS Version)

For OS version 5.0 or higher

Go to mobile Settings → Device maintenance → Battery → Choose “Unmonitored Apps” Click “Add apps” (you may need to click the ፧ on the upper right to find it) → Select GOQii → Click “Done” (upper right)

For OS version lower than 5.0

Go to mobile Settings → Device maintenance → Battery → Battery usage → Three dots (or “More” in top right) → Optimise battery usage → Click on “Apps not optimised” and switch to “All apps” → Find “GOQii” and switch it OFF Settings → Device Maintenance → Unmonitored Apps → Add apps → Select GOQii If the settings on your phone are different from the above, you can try this:

Go to mobile Settings → Device maintenance → Choose “Unmonitored Apps” Click “Add apps” (you may need to click the ፧ on the upper right to find it) → Select GOQii 🠊 Click “Done” (upper right)

Huawei

To get the right settings for GOQii app to perform properly on your Huawei mobile, you need to first determine the EMUI Version to operate accordingly. (you can go to mobile Settings → “About Phone” to check EMUI Version)

For EMUI version 3

Phone Manager → Settings (upper right) → Protected apps → Find GOQii and turn on the switch.
Phone Manager → Startup Manager → Find GOQii and turn on the switch.
Click the on-screen “Overview” button (the square one on the right) or swipe right on the home button to open a list of recently opened apps → Find GOQii → Drag down the thumbnail view of GOQii and you will see a “Lock” next to it → “Lock” GOQii on the background

For EMUI version 5

Phone Manager → Lock screen cleanup (you may need to swipe and turn to the second page) → Find GOQii → turn off the switch
Click the on-screen Overview button (the square one on the right) or swipe right on the home button to open a list of recently opened apps → Find GOQii → Click on the “Lock” icon and lock GOQii on the background.
Go to mobile Settings → Apps → Settings → Special Access → Ignore battery optimization → Find GOQii (click the dropdown arrow to see all apps) → Choose “Allow”

For EMUI version 8

Phone Manager → Launch → Find GOQii → Click on it and change it to “Manage manually”, and make sure to turn on “Auto-launch”, “Secondary launch” and “Run in background”
Click the on-screen Overview button (the square one on the right) or swipe right on the home button to open a list of recently opened apps → Find GOQii → Click on the “Lock” icon and lock GOQii on the background.
Go to mobile Settings → Apps & Notifications → Apps → Settings → Special Access → Ignore battery optimization → Find GOQii (click the dropdown arrow to see all apps) → Choose “Allow”

Go to mobile Settings → Battery & Performance → Look for “Battery Saver” → Choose apps → Find GOQii → Choose “No restrictions”
Go to mobile Settings → Permissions → Autostart → Find GOQii → Turn on the switch
Click the Overview button to open a list of recently opened apps → Find GOQii → Drag down the thumbnail view of GOQii and you will see a Lock icon showing up → Click it and lock GOQii on the background.

Go to mobile Settings → Battery → Battery Optimization → Click the dropdown arrow and choose “All Apps” → Find GOQii → Set it to "Don't optimize"

For OS version lower than 9.0

Settings → Battery → Click the three dots on the upper right corner → Battery Optimization → Click the dropdown arrow and choose “All apps” → Find GOQii → Choose “Don’t Optimize”

For OS version 9.0

Settings → Apps & notifications → Click the dropdown arrow in the bottom → Click “Special app access” → select “ Battery Optimization” → Click the dropdown arrow and choose “All apps” → Find GOQii → Choose “Don’t Optimize”

Go to mobile Settings → Battery → Click the ⋮ on the upper right corner → Battery Optimization → Click the dropdown arrow and choose “All Apps” → Find GOQii → Set it to "Don't Optimize" → Done
