I was a former user of several fitness band with had no live coach behind it. A friend of mine introduced me to the GOQii band and program back in September (4 months ago).
I have connected since then daily with my (super) coach. It is really effective!! I have established a skype contact first where I have shared my fitness pattern, my food habits and the challenges around them. We commonly fixed objectives and I started my GOQii journey my coach. She is helping me identifying what is healthy and balanced eating and drink. What is the best fitness objective on daily basis tackling my needs and set targets for me.
The great thing is that not only do they guide you on intake and gym but they support you when you don’t feel doing any physical activities as well! So I must say the GOQii band is a great buddy. Thanks to that I feel motivated to have a better life as someone is buzzing me or reminding me on my iPhone app that I have to change my life habits, and I find it just great. So far I lost in 4 months 12 kg! thanks My Coach. Kudos GOQii!! Michel
I have always been active through a regular morning tennis routine. It's kept me feeling fresh and active. One of the problems I faced was a frequent headache post tennis during the day. When I started using the band, this was a problem that I wanted to solve. I'm happy to say that the frequent dialogues with the Coach on food logs and my observations on how I feel has helped my understanding of food and nutrition needs for my activities. Additionally, the dialogues also makes you aware of how active you are during your non-workout times, which plays a big role in your overall wellbeing.
I have always been into sports and being active. However, with the compulsions of my career, I started to become tired easily, skip my daily exercise and also not eat meals on time and skip breakfast as well. Going to the gym was not an option as I did not wake up early as I slept late as I was back late at night too. GOQii was a try to make a change in my life. It helped me regulate my daily exercises, spend at least a minimum of half an hour a day doing it and also changed my eating habits. I now eat breakfast regularly and am exercising daily as well. The programme with the Coach has really helped. I have also realized that it’s a change in habit more than anything else that is most required for weight loss or physical fitness.
GOQii not a weight loss Program. What I believe is that GOQii is something which targets a healthy lifestyle. Key goals : Balance your nutrition , food intake portion, timeliness and most importantly control your stress level. A human body shouldn't be active only Physically, but mentally also. My Coach, helped me alot to understand my nutrition needs on a daily basis and a balanced workout which includes yoga in my routine. Yoga turns out be a phenomenal kick start for my day.
The awakening for me was when I struggled to complete an over during a company cricket match earlier this year. This was a trigger I needed to do something about my health & stamina and that’s how the journey with GOQii started. GOQii has not only helped me in sorting out my daily exercise routine but also made me conscious about what I eat. I go cycling 4-5 times a week and have managed to lose 6 kgs of excess fat during this amazing journey towards better life style with GoQii! My Coach has been a great motivator and has helped me in controlling my smoking too. I feel much better about my health and my energy levels have increased manifold.
I have always been very aware and cautious of my fitness levels but I have to admit that I am a true Punjabi at heart! And just like an authentic Punjabi, all small and big celebrations are incomplete without a lavish spread of food and beverages. I do tend to indulge a little and splurge when it comes to festive eating. To balance out the knick knacks, I have been regular at golf, walking, cycling, gym-ing, swimming. One day I happened to read about GOQii! GOQii is wonder product! Not only does it quantify my workout to a more meaningful form, but also balances what I have consumed during the day! GOQii has reduced the whole day to a simple calculation of what is consumed vs what is burned! It’s a great motivation to be able to self monitor! And the essence and lifeline of this product is the personalized coaching! My Coach has been a great mentor for me in this journey of fitness. After I boarded the GOQii bandwagon, not only do I look fitter than before, but I also FEEL younger, fitter and more energetic!
In more quantifiable terms, I have lost 7 kgs weight, my waistline has shrunk, my sugar levels are controlled. And the journey is still on :)

I remember when I started my GOQii journey, 3000 steps looked like a lot and I wasn’t able to achieve them. I was just a few months out of Chemotheraphy, struggling with low haemoglobin and immunity.
That’s when I came across the news article on GOQii being launched. I was one of the early customers and have not regretted my decision.
The journey from barely doing 2kms to 12 kms didn’t happen overnight. Everyday I knew my Coach was lurking behind me checking my stats. Our messages were not about did you walk today but soon became how much did you do. My Coach made sure I was stretching, resting , sleeping and kept sending me tips on what more. The battle wasn't about weight loss but making sure I was healthy. GOQii has been the eye over my shoulder inspiring me to do more and yet making sure I stay healthy. I probably on my own would never have pushed myself to 12kms.
I have been working out at gym from last 15 yrs.. have been on supplements & couple of times on fat burners & have done superb R&D about fitness and health. My mental frame was like I know all about diets & health & supplements etc..
GOQii was a total game changer. There were fantastic eye openers My fat % come down from 23% to 14% in just 3-4 months with no major change in lifestyle. I always used to eat good healthy food but never realized I over ate or I mixed wrong food combinations like eating double carbs source in 1 meal etc.
By just altering one style of my eating I saw drastic change... I didn’t get this change even when I took fat burner. Also another major eye opener was my water intake was poor, Very POOR and I just realized when my coach noticed that it was poor. Now I have atleast 2.5 ltrs per day since 6 months.
Overall fantastic change in my life to the extend that I picked bands for wife- cousins – business partner- gym buddy- office staff etc. etc.
Neha Morche, my Coach is on my back hounding me.. I used to have around 5 glasses of water and with her egging it has gone up to almost 14-15 glasses and now I feel thirsty.. In the second phase, we are starting on deep breathing and I am sure with her pushing, I will hit approx 100 deep breaths a day which will mean more oxygen in me… I also started walking now. Hope to do this continuously for a month to get in a habit. I think the band backed by someone who is coaching you helps tweak your lifestyle which is easy to implement than the knee jerk diets and gym sessions.. I feel this is more effective..
I have been working out on and off since I was 18. There was never that motivation attached to the workout. I had to do it just to know that i remain fit. For the past two months since I started wearing GOQii, I have in a way got that motivation. In my view, technology and a wearable that gives me real time data of my activities was a perfect combination. The data helps me to push my limits and the in app chat feature with the Coach was an excellent idea. My coach Ami Shah motivates me to workout, hit the gym regularly, plan my diet, send me interactive bogs on leading a healthy lifestyle. I like the fact that GOQii is not just about workout and data but also about a healthy lifestyle and giving back to the society. The more you keep yourself fit the more Karma points you earn and donate it for a good social cause. So far i have enjoyed the experience with GOQii and I think its one of the better non interfering wearable tech that is both accurate and interactive. GOQii Life is definately the way forward for anyone looking for a lifestyle change.
Being in the IT field, my main concern was staying fit and active as much as I can since the major part of my day passes by sitting on a chair in front of my laptop. I had joined a Gym in December of last year but wasn't able to go regularly as much as I wanted to. However, after trying GOQii I started to see changes in my routine for diet and regularities to hit the gym or at least to walk until 10K steps has been achieved on a daily basis. I feel that GOQii and my Coach have certainly played a great role in shaping my lifestyle from being a lazy person to the most active one. I never thought of walking 10kms at one go but now I'm preparing for Oxfam's 100kms trailwalker. This is the biggest change I can consider for myself after starting my journey with GOQii :-)
Gymming is something I love to do. Given my hectic schedules, I was losing out on energy levels and diet control. I needed a Coach who would monitor and help me rewire new habits. GOQii fit that criteria exactly. The experience isn’t one where I am ‘hounded’ or ‘bullied’. Instead, the Coach completely understands the context and sets goals that are workable. Afterall, getting better is my need, not that of my coach! It has worked very well for me and some of my colleagues have joined up as well. Hope to get back in shape soon (It has already started). On the whole, my mindfulness has gone up.
I was a very active sports player in my youth upto early twenties, as a professional running the rat race I sat on my desk and focussed on building a career, forgot all about the health and sporty activities that are so important, my stamina was at the lowest, lethargy had set in and my food habits were carbs and more carbs, I had crossed 50 years and had to do something to break this lifestyle, I was also starting my food enterprise which requires a lot of physical stamina, GOQii helped me plan and keep track of an active lifestyle and mindful eating with a balance and all this whilst having fun, today in 6 months I feel as active as I was at 40, and can do 30 kms trailwalk very easily, I am also attempting the 100 kms next month. I am feeling on top of this world, thank-you GOQii for giving me back my youth.
I had a pretty active lifestyle while I was in school, college and even after I started working. I took up regular running and biking when I was posted in the US. I also participated in various Half marathons and Marathons and was training for Ultra Marathon and Triathlon. In 2011, I returned back to India and due to various reasons (unsocial working hours, sedentary lifestyle, laziness, bad food habits) I put on those extra pounds. I tried everything from treadmill at home, joining the gym, fad diets and fitness band (yes that too) but somehow none of them worked for me. Earlier this year I started to train for a 5K charity walk and encountered all sort of issues (severe body ache, breathlessness, sore muscles etc). This triggered me to think about my health & stamina and that's how the journey with GOQii started. I was looking for something that had flexibility to exercise according to my schedule, track my progress against goals and provide motivation and support when I needed. GOQii fitted the bill perfectly.

I go walking 3-4 times a week, do cross training on other days and have managed to loose 7 kgs of excess fat during this amazing journey towards better life style with GOQii! My Coach has been a great motivator and is always there to help me with my exercise routine and meal plans.I feel much better about my health and my energy levels have increased manifold. With the guidance and support from my coach, I am currently training for the Oxfam Ultra Trail walk (100 kms) which would have remained a dream if not for GOQii.

The journey with GOQii started with simple motivation of getting more healthier. In the last six months, I can see lot of changes in my day to day life. Now I choose walking over catching an auto for a small distance. I prefer lime water to coke. I opt for salads and soups instead of spicy starters. I prefer to go for cycling over sleeping in bed on Sunday. GOQii helped me to make these small changes which have a big impact on my lifestyle. My Coach helped me to develop those habits by providing continuous guidance. I am now more aware of my body and my habits and see the permanent shift to healthier lifestyle, GOQii Lifestyle.
I was playing with my 3 year old son and I realized I could not run around with him for long. My arms started hurting when I was playing cricket with him and I was panting. I realized I need to lose weight/fat and increase my stamina. Been a good swimmer all my life and played tennis for 10 year in the past, my current state was not acceptable. Even though I was aware of my physical condition I lacked motivation to go back on the court or swim. Reading about fitness I came across GOQii. It has been 4 months now and I have been motivated by Vrushali my Coach and her constant push for workout and strategic diet to suit my lifestyle. I remember there were days when I went for a jog/walk while it was drizzling as I started enjoying my new lifestyle and i could see the change in myself after losing 2 inches. I know it does not end there and there is a long way to go and maintain the pace. I am condident my Coach will help me to achieve it.
